The number 7 has always played a significant role in the Bible. The book of Genesis tells us that when God created the world, he rested on the seventh day and then declared, in Deuteronomy, that the seventh day of every week be set aside and kept holy. It represents completeness and perfection through union of heaven with earth. The Old Testament names seven men as men of God: Moses (Joshua 14:6), David (2Chronicles 8:14), Samuel (1Samuel 9:6, 14), Shemaiah (1Kings 12:22), Elijah (1Kings 17:18), Elisha (2Kings 5:8) and Igdaliah (Jeremiah 35:4). In Hebrews, Paul refers to our Savior, Jesus Christ by seven titles: heir of all things, captain of our salvation, apostle, author of salvation, forerunner, high priest and the author and finisher of our faith. Jesus himself when asked how often to forgive those who sin against us instructed Peter “I do not say to you up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.” (Matthew 18:22)

Dear Lord,
We gladly sacrifice some of our earthly treasure You have entrusted in our care to help save the soul of this nation while leading lost souls to faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May our sacrifice be a sweet savor to You, O God. Our only goal and desire is to serve You with our lives. Spare us the seven bowls of Your wrath and watch over us from Your seat on high that we may do Thy bidding and carry word of Your love and salvation to all of Your children. In these last days of human history, may You find our hearts pure, our motivation only to serve and glorify You with our lives, and our desire to see this nation, the nations of the world, and each individual completely and unconditionally surrender to our Lord and Savior. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray for You to save the soul of our nation. AMEN!
